Coastal Information Services (CIS) will manage the Center's data and information, providing a link to external data, and integrating sources of data. Through CIS Information Resources, center staff will assist users through searches of on-line databases for coastal zone information and specialized products and services. Using Geographic Information System technology, Center staff will assist the resource management community by providing coastal ecology and land-use information using advanced display and data management tools. CIS will also collect and integrate remotely-sensed information and field measurements through the operational Coastal Change Analysis Program and the coastal ocean remote sensing effort.
