Abstract:
Digital Orthophoto Quadrangles (DOQ) were obtained by the NOAA Coastal Services Center for use in the on-line mapping section of the Protecting Our Ports and Harbors Web site. The DOQs were compressed and mosaicked using the MrSID software package.
Purpose:
Provide aerial photographs in digital form for use in on-ling mapping application which is a component of the Protecting Our Ports and Harbors project.

DOQs were obtained from the Oregon State Service Center for Geographic Information Systems (SSCGIS) by the NOAA Coastal Services Center. Certain DOQs were received by the Coastal Services Center at the quadrangle level. These DOQs were compressed using MrSID compression software. Other images received from the SSCGIS were at the quarter quadrangle level. These Digital Orthophoto Quarter Quadrangles (DOQQ) were mosaicked and compressed using MrSID to produce a DOQ.
