The South Carolina Arc Users Group (SC ARC) is a non-profit organization developed to connect users of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technologies within the State of South Carolina.

South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC)
Enforces South Carolina's Coastal Zone Management Act. The goal of this legislation, enacted in 1977, is to protect South Carolina's coastal resources and to promote responsible development. This is accomplished through a permitting and certification program that affects the eight coastal counties.
