The map below shows a land cover classification for a 1990 Landsat
Thematic Mapper satellite image. These data were analyzed according to the
Coastal Change Analysis Program (C-CAP) protocol to determine land cover.
The purpose of this classification is to improve the understanding of
coastal uplands and wetlands, and their linkages with the distribution,
abundance, and health of living marine resources. To view a more detailed description of the data, click here.
