This data set consists of South Carolina beachfront features. These features include building footprints, roads, South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control's Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management (SCDHEC OCRM) jurisdictional lines, shoreline, fences, seawalls, revetments, etc. This data set was digitized from 1:1200 scale 1993 orthophotographs by Westinghouse Landmark GIS in fulfillment of a contract with the SCDHEC OCRM. |
The data are all located in Volume 1 of the CD-ROM in the /data/shore directory. The table below lists the shapefile for each island. The data were clipped to individual islands to facilitate ease of use. To view the metadata file for the full coverage click here.
