Build-A-PIVOT Introduction

Build-A-PIVOT is both a tutorial and software application that helps users add PIVOT outreach pages to their existing Web sites. These new pages answer questions about issues of concern to communities and constituents.

Getting Started

Assemble digital information relevant to the topic being highlighted by the PIVOT site. This information can include management plans, reports, photographs, and maps.

The End Result

Build-A-PIVOT output Web pagesComplex issues and the management actions used to address them are easier to understand, because PIVOT sites help communities "see" progress.

For each management issue you choose to profile on your site, you'll create Web pages answering PIVOT's three basic questions:

What's the problem?
What are we doing about the problem?
How can we map the progress of our efforts?

Build-A-PIVOT's simple interface makes it easy for program staff to update the sites you build.
