Introduction

For those users with ArcView® GIS software installed on their computers, there is a customized ArcView project file included on this CD-ROM. The file named startup.apr is for users running either ArcView 3.0 or 3.1. It includes all of the data used in the Case Study section of the CD-ROM. The Views are organized by the steps outlined in the methodology.

Information on the data used in the project file is available in the Data sets and Metadata section.

ArcView Project File Views

Each of the ArcView project files on this CD-ROM contain the same eight views. The project files were developed and used while conducting the Vulnerability Assessment Case Study for New Hanover County. All of the GIS data used in creating the Case Study is accessible in these project files. The views mirror the steps in the case study, plus provide additional information:
