Geographic information system (GIS) project files and tutorial supporting case study vulnerability assessment.
Introduction
This section provides the following alternatives for viewing and interacting with the GIS data used in the New Hanover County Vulnerability Assessment Case Study:
- ArcView® Project Files: ArcView® 3.0 project files contain all of the GIS data used in creating the Case Study. If you are an ArcView 3.0 or 3.1 user and would like to interact with the spatial data used in the vulnerability assessment, click here.
- ArcExplorer® Project File: These mini-GIS project files are a pared-down version of the ArcView project files. They offer limited GIS functionality, including simple querying, zooming, and mapping capabilities. Free Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. (ESRI®) software is included on this CD-ROM to support the project files. If you are interested in learning about vulnerability assessment data by using a simplified GIS software package, click here.
