The NOAA Coastal Services Center is no longer distributing the Marine Spill Analysis System (MSAS) CD-ROM nor maintaining the MSAS Web site.

The Center has transitioned its support from MSAS to a spinoff application called the Environmental Resource Analysis Tools (formerly ERPgis), designed by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). This application represents a more generic environmental assessment tool and allows users to build their own data models, define their own analyses and data queries, and improve reporting capabilities. In addition, it still retains most of the functionality of the old MSAS application.
