Introduction

This project provides information, data, and imagery pertaining to the use of remote sensing systems for detecting, characterizing, and monitoring water clarity (turbidity) and sea surface temperature conditions in the Northern Gulf of Mexico. The information includes: satellite imagery in GIF and GeoTIFF format, ecological descriptions, and reference listings. This information is presented in an HTML format that can viewed on various computer platforms.
