The audience characterization process showed that Friends of the Watershed had a broad knowledge base.

	Knowledge		State regulations and statutes Effects of nonpoint source pollution on wildlife General knowledge of sources of non-point source pollution Some ideas of solutions to problems General conservation principles Knowlege of who is responsible for monitoring and enforcing

 

From the preceding information we can see that they have a good understanding of the basics, but may need more information on how to prevent nonpoint source pollution.
