The Coastal Services staff is researching the following subjects for upcoming newsletters. We would like your feedback and ideas.
Web Sites: What successes and failures have coastal resource management organizations faced in the design and production of their web sites? We want to know what information was included, and why.
Shipwrecks: How are agencies protecting these sites? Are there any unique ways of policing and preserving wrecks?
Gambling: What is the impact legalized riverboat gambling has had on the permitting process? Are there unusual coastal management issues related to the topic?
Erosion: What management programs dealing with erosion problems are working, and what challenges still need to be addressed?
Please let us know if you have other story ideas that you would like to read about in this publication. It can be a program you implemented that worked--or didn't; creative solutions to problems; or a problem that needs a creative solution. Also, let us know what you think about this issue.
