As the new year—and new millennium—approaches it is an opportune time to reflect on past accomplishments and to plan for the future. We would like to ask that you also think about the types of issues and programs that you would like to read about in Coastal Services during the coming year.
Our writers are particularly interested in the projects that you feel have been most successful for your program or agency. You might ask yourself if you have accomplished something that you think other coastal resource managers would find informative, or if you have discovered innovative approaches to managing challenges. If so, we would like to hear from you.
We would also like to learn about the difficult issues that you may be struggling with so that we can investigate if other states have developed related initiatives that might be useful. While another state's solution might not be directly applicable, it could generate ideas or provide a new direction or insight.
