Access is a service of the U.S. Government Printing Office that provides free electronic access to a wealth of important products produced by the federal government. It provides free on-line use of over 1,000 databases of federal information in over 70 applications.

Locate and order over 450,000 government publications and other products issued by NTIS since 1990. Searching capability is limited to titles and topics. Most records do NOT include product summaries (abstracts). Explore the featured collection pages to better search and browse for business, environmental, and health information. The NLM Gateway is a Web-based system that lets users search simultaneously in multiple retrieval systems at the U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM). It allows users of NLM services to initiate searches from one Web interface, providing "one-stop searching" for many of NLM's information resources or databases. The target audience for the Gateway is the Internet user who is new to NLM's online resources and does not know what information is available there or how best to search for it. PubMed, a service of the National Library of Medicine, provides access to over 11 million MEDLINE citations back to the mid-1960's and to additional life science journals. PubMed includes links to many sites providing full text articles and other related sources.

Ingenta provides access to the tables of contents of over 19,000 journal titles. Also useful for searching by author or keywords.
