GIS Data

Eighteen spatial data layers were created for the Benthic Habitats of NY/NJ Harbor project. These included biological data (e.g., abundance, biomass, and community parameters), sediment data (e.g., grain size and organic content), sediment profile imagery data, and bathymetry data.

These spatial data files can be downloaded in zipped format by clicking on the file names below. Links to FGDC-compliant metadata are also provided.

An accompanying report focusing on the Lower Bay region of NY/NJ Harbor (including Lower Bay, Raritan Bay, and Sandy Hook Bay) is in the final stages of development and will be available from this web site in the future.
