Pacific Islands Geographic Information System (GIS) Project

The Pacific Islands Geographic Information System (GIS) project is designed to increase the use of GIS and related spatial technology in the coastal resource management programs of the Pacific region. This is a multiyear effort with current efforts ongoing.

The State of Hawaii, the Territories of American Samoa and Guam, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) coastal resource management programs participate in the project.
