Visualizing Dock Growth

Dock permitting can be contentious. Each dock can be designed and constructed to minimize its environmental and aesthetic impacts, but the cumulative effects of docks can be significant.

The visualization tools and case studies presented on this Web site are designed to help local and state officials plan and act in advance of development to mitigate the potential negative effects of docks.

Using Green Pond in Falmouth, Massachusetts, as a case study, this Web site allows users to explore the potential visual impacts of different regulations on specific locations on Green Pond.
