Airborne LIDAR Data Processing and Analysis Tools

Florida International University

Features

  • Processes information in a graphics-based user interface
  • Separates ground and non-ground lidar points through filtering
  • Provides additional tools to thin, tile, and grid lidar points, as well as convert ellipsoid to orthometric heights and extract points by polygon

Overview

This tool provides transparent and automatic filtering algorithms to classify ground and non-ground lidar measurements. It also provides auxiliary tools to assist with lidar data analysis. The algorithms and software provide users with the means to derive useful information to understand and model natural and human-induced earth surface processes and their changes.
