About the Coastal Storms Program

Partnerships

NOAA’s Coastal Storms Program, established in 2002, is a networked program with partnerships and working relationships in 5 of the 6 major line offices within NOAA, federal, state and local organizations designed to increase the resiliency of coastal communities from coastal storm impacts. CSP is successful in assembling financial resources, expertise, and tools from multiple offices throughout NOAA, as well as to secure local resources in order to deliver targeted and user driven tools to the project areas where CSP works.  The list below represents a sample of the major partnerships that have been established.
