Topographic Change Mapping
Sample Results from LDART: Elevation ContoursBin Method Comparison | Bin Method Differences | Filled versus Nonfilled | Raw Point Data | GeoTiff Example | Elevation Contours The images below are sample results from LDART using the Contour shapefile option. The contours are color-coded by elevation as identified in the color bar to the right of the images. The lowest elevations are the darkest blue, the highest are dark red, and cells without known elevation values are white. Elevations range between -2 to 27 meters (referenced to the North American Vertical Datum of 1988, or NAVD88). The area shown is the north end of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The data were collected during the August 5, 2000, LIDAR survey. The data were binned using a 2-meter cell size. The upper image was created with a contour interval of 1 meter, and the lower image a contour interval of 3 meters.
