Multispectral

Multispectral sensors collect data in two or more spectral bands of the electromagnetic spectrum. The bands may be located in the visible and infrared parts of the spectrum and frequently are not contiguous. Many features have unique spectral characteristics that become apparent in imagery when viewing combinations of the different bands.
