Description

The study area encompasses all of coastal South Carolina and was accomplished using five Landsat TM images (Path 16, Rows 36, 37, 38, and Path 15, Rows 36 and 37). In addition to South Carolina, Landsat TM Path 16, Row 36 covers an inland area stretching well into North Carolina.

A descriptive summary of this data set is available in Portable Document Format (PDF). The summary includes a report of the dominant land cover changes, tabular summaries of the 1990 and 1995 land cover data sets, and a change matrix (or tabular summary) for the 1990-1995 change data set.
