Regional Data: Maine Land Cover ChangeThe Maine data are divided by scene because the dates of imagery are different for each area. DescriptionThe change detection was conducted with Landsat TM imagery (Path 12, Row 30) that covered the coastal area from Nahant, Massachusetts to Bath, Maine. A descriptive summary of this data set is available in Portable Document Format (PDF). The summary includes a report of the dominant land cover changes, tabularsummaries of the 1986 and 1993 land cover data sets, and a change matrix (or tabular summary) for the 1986-1993 change data set. View or download the Descriptive Summary (approximately 0.113 megabytes). The freely available Adobe Reader® is needed to view and print PDF files. Download Data
Central Maine Land Cover ChangePeriod1986 – 1995 
DescriptionThe change detection was conducted with Landsat TM imagery (Path 12, Row 29) that covered the coastal area from North Portland to Pleasant Bay, Maine. A descriptive summary of this data set is available in Portable Document Format (PDF). The summary includes a report of the dominant land cover changes, tabular summaries of the 1986 and 1995 land cover data sets, and a change matrix (or tabular summary) for the 1986-1995 change data set. Northern Maine Land Cover Change PrototypePeriod1985 – 1992 
DescriptionThe change detection was conducted with Landsat TM imagery (Path 10 Row 29) that covered the coastal area from St. John, New Brunswick, Canada to South Addison, Maine. This was the first land cover change conducted after the Chesapeake Bay prototype and does not have any accuracy assessment results. A descriptive summary of this data set is available in Portable Document Format (PDF). The summary includes a report of the dominant land cover changes, tabular summaries of the 1985 and 1992 land cover data sets, and a change matrix (or tabular summary) for the 1985-1992 change data set.
