The NOAA Coastal Services Center is only one of many organizations
with an interest in LIDAR applications. The Center, the NASA
Observational Sciences Branch, and the United States Geological
Survey (USGS) Center for Coastal Geology jointly fund thw Airborne
LIDAR Assessment of Coastal Erosion (ALACE) project. NASA and
USGS are conducting projects with the data collected by the ALACE
project - follow the links at left to learn more about these
projects.
