Coastal Hazards Policy Shoreline Stability |
The Oregon Coastal Management Program,
administered by the Department of Land Conservation and
Development (DLCD), knits together the state laws for managing
Oregon's coastal lands and waters into a single, coordinated
package. This program, approved by the NOAA Office of Coastal
Resource Management (OCRM) assures that the state and its
citizens will have the leading role in deciding how the
resources of the coast will be conserved and developed. The Oregon DLCD booklet (in PDF format)
explains what the program is and how it works.
